How much do quartz countertops cost?
Our quartz countertops start at $44.99 per square foot installed; some colors cost a little more. That price includes measuring, fabrication, the edge, the faucet hole, installation and a free sink. With our 35 sq ft minimum, a small kitchen starts at about $1,575.
Quartz or granite: which is better?
Both are great choices. Quartz is engineered stone: the color is even throughout, it never needs sealing, but you should use a trivet for hot pans. Granite is natural stone: every slab is one of a kind, it handles heat well, and it needs sealing now and then. With us, granite starts at $39.99 and quartz at $44.99 per sq ft installed.
How long does quartz countertop installation take?
About 5 days after you approve your price. Installation itself takes one day.
What is included in the quartz countertop price?
Measuring, the quartz, fabrication, an eased or 1/4" bevel edge, the faucet hole, installation and a free stainless kitchen sink. No hidden fees.
How is the price per square foot calculated?
We add up the square feet of your countertops and backsplash and multiply by the price of the color you pick. There is a 35 sq ft minimum.
Do you install quartz backsplashes?
Yes. We make 4" and full-height backsplashes from the same quartz, so they match perfectly. Backsplash square feet are added to your countertop total.
Can I put hot pans on quartz?
Please use a trivet or hot pad. Very hot pans set directly on quartz can leave a mark or crack it. Quartz is also made for indoor use, since strong sunlight can fade it over time.
Does quartz need sealing?
No. Quartz never needs sealing. Clean it with warm water and mild soap.
Can I see quartz slabs in person before I choose?
Yes. Visit our warehouse in Sterling, VA to see 150+ colors in person, or ask us to send photos.
Do your quartz countertops come with a warranty?
Yes. Every installation comes with a 1-year labor warranty.
